Jugendförderverein Parchim (Project Coordinator)

Since 1992 Jugendförderverein Parchim/Lübz e. V. (JFV) operates as non-profit organization. In accordance with its association articles it sets innovative impulses for encouraging the occupational integration of disadvantaged and vulnerable youth, more specifically, early school leavers, socially excluded persons, adults with migrant backgrounds and unemployed adults. JFV offers a wide range of services centered on the needs of these target audiences that aim to prepare, motivate and encourage them for training/occupation in labor market as well as supporting and guiding them in their personal development.

CARDET

CARDET is a non-profit, research and development organization based in Cyprus, affiliated with the University of Nicosia, the largest private university in Cyprus. Our mission is to inspire next generation education, and promote research, innovation and development through evidence-based practices, cutting-edge research, and empowered people. It is one of the premier social justice oriented organizations in Cyprus with extensive experience developing and implementing programs focusing on migrants and integration. We are the founders of the Mediterranean Migration Network (www.migrationnetwork.org), which is funded by EU Solidarity funds, with more than 150 organizations as members from EU and the world. CARDET is also the Cyprus Focal Point of the European Website on Integration and the Cyprus partner for Migrant Integration Policy Index Project (MIPEX). Moreover CARDET completed more than 12 projects on issues related to migration and integration, under the Solidarity Funds and the Lifelong Learning Programs. In addition, CARDET is the Cyprus focal point of the Global Network “Social Watch”, with more than 200 member organizations, working in the fields of social justice and social integration. Furthermore, CARDET is a founder member of the Cyprus Platform for Non-Governmental Development Organizations, with more than 30 member organizations.

The Rural Hub

The Rural Hub was set up as an association by a group of education, training and rural development professionals as a response to the impact of the economic crisis on small rural villages and towns in Ireland. Since it was first established in 2012, The Rural Hub has been providing a wide range of training and capacity development programmes to local residents and community groups. We specialise in the area of community development and have developed a number of local initiatives to support the social inclusion of disadvantaged rural youth, migrant communities and isolated older residents. We work with these groups, using creative approaches and the testing of digital media resources to support greater social cohesion among local communities in County Cavan. We have a developed network of county-wide stakeholders who support our work on a thematic basis.

JAITEK

Jaitek Technology and Training, is formed by educators, psychologists and computer scientists, dedicated to the development of programs and application of ICT in education, training and business. Also involved in the development of programs and training materials, e-learning and e-business solutions, using the most innovative educational data-base management and interactive boards utilization. Jaitek has a longstanding experience in management of educational projects involving both methodologies and technologies.

The company provides consulting, implements and validates e-learning environments. Here we deal with both the Instructional design of courses and the customisation of e-learning platforms – mainly Moodle – where we can link with other (open source) platforms as Joomla, WordPress or Elgg. We are experienced in all sorts of training: presence, blended and e-learning, giving customised solutions, technical support, and preparation of training resources (these could be SCORM compliant and suitable for use on any device) and the collaborative development of teaching units for online training.

Instituto Politechico Castelo Branco

The Castelo Branco Polytechnic Institute (IPCB) is a public higher education institution in Portugal. The Higher School of Education (Escola Superior de Educação - ESE) is one of IPCB’s faculties and its staff is highly trained to develop educational projects, at graduate and postgraduate levels, in the areas of teacher training, office management, sports and social education. ESE and CILCE, the Interdisciplinary Language, Culture and Education Centre of IPCB are experienced in applied research in the areas of teacher education, intercultural education, foreign languages, reading promotion and children’s and young adult literature. ESE has an extensive educational network in the Beira Baixa region, with Spanish institutions involved in teacher training and reading promotion, and with European education institutions through its many EU-funded projects in the above areas.
